Only 90 minutes from the Calgary International Airport, the independently owned and operated Rimrock reopened its doors on August 1st, 1993, after extensive renovations, completing the evolution of a bathhouse into the luxurious hotel it is today. When you enter the Rimrock’s grand lobby, breathtaking views of the Canadian Rockies are on permanent display. The Rimrock is proud to offer guests a 100 percent smoke-free environment where you will feel renewed in the mountain air. The Rimrock has four guest room categories to choose from: Standard, Deluxe, Premium and GrandView. Guest rooms are approximately 350-square-feet; the defining difference between them is their views and amnities offered. Guest rooms are elegantly appointed and have been designed to incorporate the natural colours surrounding the Rimrock.

Under a wealth of experience from Executive Chef Ralf Wollmann, the Rimrock’s culinary teams aspire to create cuisine to cater to every taste: from the AAA/CAA Five Diamond award-winner Eden, elegant Primrose, grand Larkspur Lounge, ever-divine Divas lounge, gourmet Rimrock Café, to Room Service. The Rimrock is committed to preserving the environment. Recognizing the responsibility we have both globally and locally to Banff National Park, we have developed a number of programs to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle wherever possible from energy-efficient lighting, water conservation systems, naturalized landscaping, and an extensive recycling program, to name a few. By changing our bathroom, facial tissue, hand towels, and napkins to 100 percent recycled, EcoLogo certified products from SCA, each year we will save 350 trees, 31 033 gallons of oil, 143 641 gallons of water, 82 367 kilowatts of energy and 61.57 cubic yards of landfill.
